Human “Beans”
Dr. Galen the famous Quackulist often contributes to the NEJQ. Besides featherization he is very interested in the humans that sometimes stumble onto Mount Hooah from time to time. After observing these creatures he wrote an article about humans or “Beans”. Apparently Dr. Galen overheard a mother of three telling a friend that her children were just “sprouting up” like weeds. Dr. Galen thus made the assumption that humans are an offshoot of the plant kingdom.
This false assumption became mainstream information and has been perpetuated by the discovery of the belly button, or “bean button” per Hooahbear lingo on humans. Once an idea like this gets hold, it is very difficult to take a different view of the matter. It would require a major change in Hooahbear culture to get them to not look at humans as some sort of alien plant form.
